Created as a resource for my freelancing course in the Professional Writing and Communications graduate certificate that I helped to develop at Humber College in Toronto, the Feisty Freelancer book captures the lessons I’ve learned from building a business, trying new things, making mistakes, picking new directions and generally enjoying life as a 20+ year career freelancer. I share advice on how you too can enjoy the work-from-home lifestyle and find the working life that works for you. For me, freelancing has afforded opportunities to choose my own projects, set my own schedule, do great work for clients who are a good fit, and fit travel into my life.
